Virginia Commonwealth University Reanimation Engineering Shock Center. Dedicated to the ongoing study and development of technologies for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the disease state known as shock.

RESUS, LLC is a commercial outgrowth of VCURES, the Virginia Commonwealth University Reanimation Engineering and Shock Center at the VCU Medical Center. Located at the Virginia Biotechnology Park, RESUS was awarded a competitive grant from Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology. The grant, entitled University Outreach and Life Science Company Formation provides funding to enable the formation of companies based on technologies licensed from Virginia Universities.
